Last week we built a new tee on the 2nd hole that will make you think twice before you make your shot. This new angle brings the lake into play and will require a 130 yard shot to carry the lake and the deep pot bunker protecting the front of the green. You are also hitting into the prevailing south wind so your club selection will be different from what you have used on this tough par 3 in the past. This new tee will be an alternate for the Oak and Maple positions.
We seeded the tee surface on August 14th and within four days we have new seedlings coming up everywhere. We expect the new tee to be open for play next spring.
