That famous postal worker creed holds true for our maintenance staff as well. Our crew starts before daybreak each day using headlamps until they can see well enough without the lights. Rainy days can also make the workday more difficult, sometimes bad enough to keep us from mowing. There are always jobs that can be done in the rain though, for example, trimming around sprinkler heads and pruning throughout the community are typical rain day projects.
Mother Nature can throw us a lot of curve balls but we have learned to adjust accordingly and enjoy the spontaneity of change. The great days far outweigh the tough ones making our job at Abbey Springs a wonderful place to work and provide for our families.
